Art Work done by Nitin Potdar

Nitin Potdar > Art Work

As the unity of the modern world would become technological rather than a social affair, the techniques of the arts provide the most valuable means of insight into the real direction of our own collective purposes – Marshall McLuhan, the Marketing Legend also well-known for this theory ‘Medium is Message‘.

I have devoted my entire career of about 30 years to interpreting the law, people facts, and situations around them. Trying to understand and interpret their individual and collective purposes. This exercise has always intrigued me and let to another exciting journey of painting the impressions, new insights, and experiences gained during this period as emerged on my canvas albeit in the abstract forms titles ‘Impressions‘. Conceptually, this journey is no different from what I have been doing all these years. That is what life is all about – finding the code purpose whether at an existential level or metaphysical level. Invariably. the very concept of the core itself seems transient, that compels us to explore it again. Making it interesting and an equally challenging exercise.

I have been seriously painting for some time using acrylic on canvas, without receiving any formal education or training in the field of fine arts. And it is only now that I have decided to share my impressions and interpretations I got during the aforesaid journey.
